International Women's Group PIAP Launch

The Honourable Peter Batchelor MP, minister for community development, with 100 community representatives in attendance, launched the International Womens Group (IWG) Public Internet Access Program (PIAP) on 8 July 2009.

The PIAP project is located in a dedicated meeting room at the Greek Community Centre in Morwell. Mr Batchelor said the program would get the region's migrant and refugee women online and assist them to send emails, search the web and use video communication.
